Can women bring peace to World.....

Like world is shrinking in refernce to technology,war for resources, clash of cultures happening frequently.Countries are getting intolerant.Peace seems to be a rare commodity, always in demand but absent in stock. Since woman is more pro-peace than war-obsessed man.Its her natural make up. And men has to confront women at home , be he is president of a nation or soldier or a scientist or a comman man.

What can a woman do in bringing peace? This is strictly speaking about the theoretical aspects. In real sense peace is a very subjective issue. Many might agree that peace is a state in which a person perceives no threats – physical as well as emotional. Leaving aside the definition and perceptions, peace as comprehensive human security and not just absence of war or armed-conflicts is something people can look forward to and strive for. It has been stressed time and again that women can play constructive roles in bringing peace wherein a human can aspire for a secure life. But how far is this true and possible? Women, because of their negotiation skills, might have been unanimously chosen as the forerunner of peace. And this assumption is well supported by the fact that 1000 women were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2005 and collectively referred to as Peace Women. These women worked in different fields to bring peace. There was a woman from Sudan who initiated a movement against female circumcision, a doctor trying to build an emotional bridge between Palestinians and Israelis, a social activist rescuing and helping the victims of Godhra rebuild their lives, an illiterate woman striving for a superstition-free world in an interior village of Assam.

If a woman is given the responsibility of bringing peace, she should be given the right to decide how this responsibility should be materialized. If a woman is not yet able to decide, her capacity must be built. the participation of women as mothers and parents crucial to develop the proper qualities in children to become agents for peace, but the influence of women in the affairs of the world, through their participation in all areas of activity on a full and equal footing with men is also an essential element to make war once and forever obsolete.Further, women could help reverse a prevalent philosophy of life that assumes that human beings are captive of the natural world, and that human behavior must therefore resemble that of animals; since the resultant struggle for material wealth is one with which women are very familiar, having long been victims of a system that values material productivity as the mark of success, but does not lead to security, happiness, or well-being for anyone.

There is a great need in our world today to include in education cooperative approaches involving respect for the potential realization of the highest qualities in every human being. Further cooperative attitudes and respect for others in the family will encourage the acceptance of rights for everyone: the respect for children and for women is enhanced in families where moral and spiritual values underlie the concern for material well-being. In addition, when these attitudes are extended from the family to the nation and the world, they hold great promise for lessening and eventually abolishing those divisive prejudices that have seriously inhibited growth and development.

1857-1947-2007-Criket- Indian Psyche

All of you must be wondering what Cricket has to do with 1857 , 1947 and India. No wonders!! They share a great symbolism.

Lets start from 1857, much hyped ‘sepoy mutiny’ was more of a UNION of people from all sects devoid of their caste, religion and region. Officially it failed, but it had transformed a sleeping nation to a struggle for its independence. It had generated a wave of Nationalism among the people of India. This unity of religions, castes, regions achieved their fruit in 1947 but with partition based on religion.

A struggle that had started with unity ended in a wounded partition. Then 'Looted Golden Sparrow, whose wings were ebbed with chains of Gulami, has dreamt of flying high again but myth was infected in early seventies with the immortal virus of Corruption, unemployment, population and poverty. Poor Golden sparrow!! Later that virus has replaced itself with the face of Nationalism which unorganized the unity of people in the classes as castes, religions and many more! Today, 2007 we are feeling high on urban growth but sparrow is sad because aandata is hanging himself. That’s the paradox.

Coming to Cricket, Indian psycho is very much alike this game. Lazy, unaggressive and forgettable.It has been written in Wisden( Bible of Cricket) that Cricket is the game of PARTNERSHIPS. Those who have strong partnerships always are winners. Its highly unpredictable like life. Country Like Japan can be in the list of developed ones with its never say die spirits even after devastating atom bomb saga And Country Like Ours with a spiritual tradition of more than 5000 years still struggling to identify its real face and real way of administration. Indian cricket never believed or practiced big partnerships and always-in turmoil so does India and its society. Egos of classes, religions, and castes never have been shed in the favor of country. So no partnerships, no big victories….

There is lot to learn from 1857 PARTNERSHIP, UNITY which had thrown an empire whose Sun was never set since centuries. Before another colonization starts in one way or other let us break the Wall of religions, ego of castes, for an aspiring Golden sparrow. Lets give Her strength that She deserves!

Conveniently motivated by Al Gore.US economy is facing slow down.....Oops No others are emerging...That's the crux.Since US Big Brother( the way He likes to be called..) was not strong enough in the era of colonisation, in modern colonisation of last n current century, leading at all fronts( yes and engulfing other's resources is the key n farting, which causing global warming).
Before I die of laughing let me complete this post..

This planet is a result of spontaneous changes in universe and so do life.These process are regular in various galaxies, solar system. This does not require the brain of Einstein to understand.Global warming!! da mn it! Who the hell is living on Mars n other planets where Temp is on rise.......Tell me Al Gore!!(Are you sure, that your house's emission isn't reaching there.)

They blame of China and India for emission now.You know why!!! biggest population!! biggest market!! oops!! Like there are no other country, there are no other Citizen. and Like no other have the right to Grow!!! Actually right to grow but not bigger than them..

Ya continuing on changes(which only is regular and permanent); There have been Ice age and other era which caused a lot of changes in atmosphere of earth.Various oceans, deserts, series of mountain formed due to this CLIMATE change.......And and even Federal funded research have proved that Most of green house effect are emitted by living volcanoes....Very very less due to Human activities.

yeah!! as a inhabitant of earth we must be aware of climate and corrective measures in our own capacities, though we cant fight nature over climate change but we definitely can delay it by some or others means.For this an honest effort is required not. Effective leadership and commitment to principles.

There has been many occasion which sparked me over the years and present scenario of 'Empty Idealism', Liberalisation(in the case of currency only), provoked me to pen down my feelings over the issue of leadership.Time, when i Wrote this was 2nd October, which is celebrated as "Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday.Here I'm putting that...


Whether effective leadership requires that a leader consistently follow his/her principles and objective, is a complex issue- one that is tied up in defining effective leadership in the 1st place. in addressing the issue it is helpful to consider, three distinct forms of leadership;business, political and social - spiritual in the business realm , effective leadership is generally, at least in today's corporate culture,, as that which achieves the goal of profit maximization for a firms shareholders or other owners. many disagree , however , that profit is appropriate measure of business leader's effectiveness. some detractors claim , i.e. that a truly effective business leader must also fulfill additional duties- i.e. not to do intentional harm to their customers or to the society in which they operate.Other detractors go further- to impose on business leaders an affirmative obligation to yield to popular will, by protecting consumers ,preserving natural environment, promoting education and otherwise taking steps to help alleviate society's problems.

>>Whether our most effective business leaders are the ones who appease the general populace by contributing to popular social causes depends, of course, on own definition of business success.In my observation a business becomes subject to close scrutiny by the media and social activists, business leader will maximize profits in the long term only by taking reasonable steps to to minimise the social and environmental harm, their business cause.Thus the two definitions merge of effective leadership and commitment to principles.

>>In the political realm the issue is no less complex . Definition of effective political leadership are tied up in the means , a leader uses to wield his/her power and to obtain that in first place.Consider history's most infamous tyrants and deposts- such as Genghis Khan,Stalin,Mao,and Hitler.No historian would disagree that these individuals were remarkably great effective leaders, and that each one remains consistently committed to his tyrannical objectives and principles..Ironically, it was stubborn adherence to objectives that ultimately defeated all expect Khan. Thus in short term stubborn adherence to ones objective might serve a political leader's interest in preserving his / her power; yet in long term such behaviours invariably results in that leaders downfall-if the principles are not in accord with those of leader's would be followers.

Finally consider social-spiritual leadership.Few would disagree their ability to inspire others and lift the human spirits,Mahatma Gandhi and Marin Luther King were eminently effective in leading others to effect social change through civil disobedience.It seems to me that this brand of leadership,in order to be effective , inherently requires that leader remain steadfastly committed to the principles.WHY???????????

It is commitment to principles that is the basis of the brand of leadership.For example , had Gandhi advocated civil disobedience, yet been persuaded by close advisers that an occasional violent protest might be effective in gaining independence,, no doubt result have been immediate forfeiture of that leadership.Unfortunately presently we r lacking this brand in our country.Politics becomes party based instead of issue and development.Our leader enjoying trapeze on issue less issues such as temple.When they r supposed to act in condition of country's esteem like Kandahar abduction of airlines ,they get perplexed and release the terrorists.In contrast u might not forget action of Russia towards Theater hostage drama. For them country esteem was more important than life's of few civilians.Any way there must be change , definitely it will be ...

In sum strict adherence to principles and objectives is a prerequisite for effective social-spiritual leadership-both in short term and long term.In contrast political leadership wanes in long term unless the leader ultimately yields to the will of followers.Finally, when it comes to business,leader must create a balance between profit maximization-- the measure of effectiveness ---- and yielding to detain broader obligations that society is now imposing on them.

Beauty.......Slavery and Salvation!

What is beauty?
And why do people deify it?
Is it an empty vessel Or a vessel of gleaming fire?

Why does physical flaws in perfect beauty upset, even offend us so much? Everyone rejoices if a hunchbacked woman gives birth to a beautiful child, BUT what if Venous de Milo produced a two-headed monster? Its coming to world would defile her own beauty too.

Plato Said:-Beauty is like a mirror which reflects the YOUTH of world. It is the bliss of Harmony, the triumph of matter aware of itself...Beauty is not the subject to the ravages of time.Beauty is the splendor of truth...

Aristotle said that the price of any object depends on its beauty. Everyone should be the slave of those who r the most beautiful.........Is he right??

All slavery is base beauty, is the property of all, like leafy tree in desert. Do u believe that beauty will save the world by making man refashion himself its image n likeliness???

I believe that beauty is not only beautiful form, above all the meaning behind the man's conquest of the world.Yet the earthly world, for example, existed in all its beauty millions of years before our forefathers appeared, and there was no need to save it.Its SALVATION lies in the constant perfectionment and accumulation of beauty.With respect to man the world will be saved by active beauty.The beauty of the great deed,the beauty of the noble impulse,compassion for sufferings and misfortunes of all living things.Its salvation lies in greatness of woman who perceived beauty in monstrosity.

What could be a better motivation to write on a flat chair which give your bum a burning feeling.(not a soothing idea to all.please avoid!)It has been more than a year since I created this blog.I was feeling lately that people have gone advance or I am not enough competent(Later may be the case!).Definitely, Blogging has provided a suitable platform to ventilate, exploration of talented (untalented like me as well) writers.Still I feel it has a wider scope than its present situation.It could beat newspapers on certain issues.Poetry, short stories,phrases and other forms of literature has found their saviour in blogging.Search engineshave done a good job but still they need to pay a deep attention for loggers.Lets see, how long I would perform in this tenure.

Anyone can write anything here, I'm liberal enough not to moderate anything.Also one can use the stuff from blog without any permission.I do not claim for copyrights.Thoughts must not have any hindrance.Welcome! Take it..Its free.. But just Smile..It costs nothing. Why Peace , What is Peace and When!

We all here on web community talk about Peace(and feel proud that we are going to feed world with it! Ah rubbish! but we can Folks).

Peace -----> A much comprehensive term, more easier to write than to realize and spreading!Lets try to see what is in our own capacities!

Why Peace,What and When:-> Except Human species every other creature, seems to be in natural rhythm.May be, in the process of evolution, we Humans, have got consciousness, decision making power n ability to think and act coherently; our natural nature is not to LIVE in peace,but when we feel insecure( for one reason or another, as we are unaware of root causes) , we crave for a thing where we can get a solace.(Yes! here we need Peace). Humans generally are need, desire driven and this create a stair of hierarchy,about which we all are aware.Its same like evolution from a cytoplasmic cell to complex human body.From basic requirements of food, shelter and reproduction, we humans have a natural desire to achieve next hierarchy in every stage. This process certainly requires efforts, many time successful and other times unsuccessful. Failure and success both gives another desire to move ahead.After attaining a certain level biologically , we feel exhausted and we run toward a feeling where we can refresh our energies and hence introspection or analysis about what we are doing and why we are doing. <-->Here come a little of insight(in the form of realization) , which curositize(self coined word) us to ponder about all these things....Suddenly we may feel that these goals,achievements are ephemeral and will perish with time.On that enlighting spot we realize importance of life, human life......Here Process of peace starts.(WHEN Peace) ...

We started with facing tribulations and peace dropped in, which throw light over reality of events,their cause(which are our desires), interconnection of our deeds and their relation with future(defining science as well as nature's law of action n reaction). > Then the true feeling of freedom from all fears, joy in all actions, and continuous calmness in our existence seems to arise.(Surely!Fearlessness,Freedom,Joy,Peace are interconnected and hierarchical ).

Peace is a Universal feeling of staying unaffected from so coined good or bad(Saying good or bad is itself not well justified,these are very much relative terms).Its a process from inward to outward and then inward. Peace is everlasting sphere which keep on increasing. It comes WHEN there is introspection of ourselves,Acceptance of everything which is connected with us, and moving ahead without guilt.Why we need peace because we are naturally evolving species on the journey to evolve in to a less restless species!Cheers!Ciao

The Paradox of our Time

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; We have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.

We've conquered outer space, but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.

We've split the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait.

We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships.

These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw-away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer to quiet, to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom; a time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.


So dear What's your choice?
